ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the University Cricket Club was held in the Students* Union Buildings on Friday evening. The president, Mr F. M. Hanan,. presided over an attendance of about <33 members. and supporters .of ‘the club. The; election of' office-bearers resulted: —Patron,- Mr W.. S. Armitagc, K. Uttlcy; delegates to Otago Cricket Association—Messrs Titchener, Armitage, and Harvey. ■ ■ The trophies won during the last season were presented to . the winners by Mr W. G. Robertson. It was decided to 'bold' the official Opening - of the club on October 3. • ■ The secretary was instructed to writ# to the retiring dob captain (Mr A. W.Sinclair) expressing _ the sympathy of the members with him in his illness. ■
