CHILD’S HAND CUT. Suffering from a cut hand caused through playing with a glass bottle, William Ball, aged 12, who resides at 44 Bradshaw street, was admitted to hospital at 2.45 p.m. yesterday. . THREE INJURED. Early on Sunday morning a car driven by Lancelot William Donaldson, an employee at Burwood Station, failed to negotiate a corner on the road l from Mossburn to the Public Works camp at Mount Hamilton, and. crashed over a 25ft bank into the river. The driver escaped unhurt, but the three passengers were injured.' Charles Webb, of Invercargill, suffered . severe head injuries and a broken right.leg; Edward 1 William Bedwell, head injuries; Ralph Cole Scott, head injuries and fractured ribs. The victims were brought by ambulance to the Southland Hospital, and their condition is reported as satisfactory.—lnvercargill Association message.
