PILOTAGE THROUGH LONDON The Automobile Association (Fugland) maintains an organised pilot service which simplifies the journey through London for members unaccustomed to heavy traffic. This service, according to the association’s annual report, has been greatly appreciated. By request, pilots familiar with the best and quickest routes through London, meet members at an appointed rendezvous on the outskirts and drive them to any point desired either in London or beyond. More than 3,000 applications for this service, for which only a nominal charge is made, were received during the year.
