LIGHTHOUSES FDR MOTORISTS
“ Lighthouses,” with illuminated glass walls on which arc shown the distances to, and the directions for reaching, Berlin, Dresden, and many other leading cities, are the latest traffic facilities to ho introduced in Germany. The signs have been so built that they can bo seen for a considerable distance in the city, and thus serve as guides. They are supplemented by other illustrated indicators at cross-roads, which indicate the nearest and clearest main roads through the city.
