LAWN TENNIS

COSY DELL CLUB The twenty-fourth annual meeting of the Cosy Dell Lawn Tennis Club was held on Thursday night in the Vedic Cafe. Mr H. W. Hunter presided over a large attendance of members, and congratulated the club on past successful seasons. The annual report and balance sheet were read and adopted, both showing the club to be in a satisfactory position. The following office-bearers were elected :—President. Mr S. Greenslade; vice-presidents—Messrs James Hogg. T. Fogg, R. G. Hudson, A. A. Hudson. Harman Reeves, J. J. Clark, William Brown, A. Jensen, R. H. Wilkie, J. Macfie, D. Kerr, E. W. Trent, James Taylor; auditor, Mr William Brown; club can tain. Mr I. B. Stevenson; treasurer, Miss M. Walker- secretary, Mr R. J. M'Laren; committee Messrs Statham, Macandrew, MacAvoy, Waugh, Misses Warren, S. Cameron, and L. Stokes; delegates to the Otago Association, Messrs Stevenson and Falconer. The opening day was fixed for September 26.
