'OUTWARD BOUND'
‘ Outward Bound,’ the British play from the pen of Sutton Vane, presents a series of intensive psychological studies, and proffers ample opportunity for dramatic talent. In selecting this play the Dunedin Little Theatre Society was influenced, first, by its English success; and, secondly, by its difference from the more generally accepted type of dramatic entertainment. ‘ Outward Bound ’ was originally produced at the old Hampstead Drill Hall, which was converted into a repertory theatre. As Mr C. R ; Allen said, when writing recently in the * Star “ It is just the type of play to appeal to the kind of audience the Little Theatre in Dunedin is cultivating—namely, the audience in search of ideas ” ‘ Outward Bound ’ will be presented in the Little Theatre for a season of four evenings, commencing on Wednesday next. The box plans are now open at Begg’s.
