GOOD TEMPLARY
The Rescue Lodge, No. , 105 (1.0.G.T.), held its weekly meeting in the Oddfellows’ Hall, Kensington, on Tuesday last. Chief Templar Bro. M‘Curdy presided over an excellent attendance of members. , Bro. W. A. lies reported on the meeting of the Dunedin District Lodge, No. 1. Sister Merrit, late of the Pioneer Lodge, was readmitted. One new member was initiated. Bro. T. Brooks, S.J.W., reported on the Star of the South Temple and thanked, adult members for their interest in juvenile work. The programme for the evening was in the hands of the P.C.T. and C.T. A game of skittles was played, the Templar’s side winning by a big majority. Bro. M‘Curdy reported on a visit to All Nations Lodge, Port Chalmers, and gave the greeting of all its members. The Star of the South Juvenile Temple, No, IS (1.0.G.T.) held its weekly meeting in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Tuesday last. Chief Templar Sister Ethel Gibbes presided over an excellent attendance of members, with Bro. T. Brooks, superintendent,, in charge. Four new members were initiated into the order. Sister D. Miller was elected and installed as treasurer. Dances were given by the following: Bro. Miller. Sister I. M‘Donald and two of the new members. Several games were played. A vote of thanks was passed to the C.T. and V.T., in whose hands the programme had been left. The following adult members were present: Sisters Mrs M‘Donald. Mrs Brooks, J. Baxter, M. Baxter, E. Saunders, Mrs lies, and Mrs Brian, Bros. W. A. lies (G.C.T.) and M‘Curdy (C.T. Rescue Lodge). 411 were welcomed.
