STABILISING DEVICE
FOR BENEFIT OF SEA TRAVELLERS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 17. (Received September 18, at 12.10 p.m.) A device—namely,, the Denny Brown stabiliser —has been demonstrated. It is claimed to reduce shipboard rolling and pitching and to eliminate seasickness. It consists of fins fitted on each side of a ship, controlled by a gyroscope. It is stated that there is no reason why it should not be fitted to ships of any type and size.
