The employers always feared this development, which is unprecedented in the history of the strike movement in France. LILLE STRIKE ENDED PARIS, September 17. (Received September 18, at 11.30 a.m.) M. Salengro (Minister of the Interior) has announced that an agreement has been reached ending the Lille strike. It provides for a 6 per cent, increase in wages. Thirty-five thousand textile workers are returning to work immediately.
