(Received September 17, at 12.30 p.m.) Lord Waleran has married Betty, younger daughter of Sir Emsley Carr, and is joining the Orion at Toulon on a world tour, including Australia and New Zealand. The guests included Sir Isaac and Lady Isaacs, Sir Harry and Lady Brittain, Sir Henry aha Lady Horton, Lord and Lady Iliffe, Sir Roderick and Lady Jones, Viscount and Viscountess Wakefield and Mr and Mrs J. L. Garvin. [Lord Waleran was the second secretary to the Governor-General of New Zealand (Sir Charles Fergusson)
