CO-OPERATION FROM AUSTRALIA FLYING BOAT SERVICE PROBABLE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, September 16. The Federal Cabinet to-day decided to participate in the British Government’s proposals for linking up the dominions in an Empire air mail scheme, the details of which have not yet been completed. It is believed that there will be an extension of the flying boat service to Sydney next year, and ultimately to New Zealand. TASMAN SERVICE CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. CANBERRA, September 17. (Received September 17, at 10.35 a.m.) The Commonwealth Government is to be represented by the Minister of Defence, Sir Archdale Parkbill, at the Wellington conference to consider the establishment of an air mail service between Australia and New Zealand. Sir Archdal© Parkbill will be accompanied by a delegation of senior officers from the Post Office and the Civil Aviation Department, and will sail next Saturday. He expects to be absent about a month.
