APPLICATION FOR AWARD [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 17. An application for an award was made in the Arbitration Court at Auckland by the Fruit Preserving and Vegetable Canning Union. The wages of adult workers, except those working as departmental foremen, having been settled, the only matters in dispute ai - o the hours of work, tho wages of youths and females, the rate for casual workers, and holidays. The hearing is proceeding.
