(Received September 16, at 1.5 p.m.) Peter Beevers, of Bradford, who was one of the English peace pilgrims, collapsed and died as the last sacrament was being administered. [A previous message stated: Less than 30 miles from war-wrecked Spam 150,000 ex-soldiers, including delegations from England, France, Germany, Italy, and Canada, are praying for peace. French ex-soldiers assembled in force at the railway platform to greet the Germans, and warmly embraced their former enemies.]
