NORTH ISLAND TOURNEY [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 15. The fifth annual tournament of the North Island Licensed Victuallers’ Golf Association was concluded to-day. Eighty competitors entered into the various competitions in a carefree way. The retailers’ championship was won by E. Manley, a handicap 14 player from the Seafield Club, Wanganui, who defeated J. N. Anderson, a Hawera Club player on the seven mark. T, E. James (Wellington) w'on the wholesalers’ championship, defeating J. Black (Wellington) 6 and 4 in the final. There were 37 events on the programme, even the limit men having a special competition of their own.
