OTAGO LADIES' CLUB

The annual Country Day was held at the Otago links yesterday. There was_ a very good entry—competitors coming from Cromwell; Roxburgh, Milton, Taieri, and Balclutha. Mrs Hotop, from Cromwell, registered a good score, reducing her handicap by one stroke. Scores were as follow: —Mrs Hotop, 96—23—73; Miss I- Gilmour (Roxburgh), 105—26—79; Mrs Mitchell (Taieri), 109—28—81; Mrs Callender (Otago), 96—17—79.

In the afternoon foursomes over nine holes were played, Mrs Gates (Otago) and Mrs Hitchon (Milton) proving the winners, with a score of all square.
