COMPLETION OF EQUIPMENT CABINET MAKES SPECIAL GRANT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 14. The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Rome correspondent reports that Signor Mussolini informed the Cabinet that an extraordinary grant of an unknown amount would be allocated to_ enable the army, the navy, and the air force to face any eventuality. It is believed that Signor Mussolini has laid down a four-year plan to complete the war equipment. The commissariat for arms factories controls _ 1,000 establishments, therefore the industry is almost entirely nationalised.
