MORNINGTON METHODIST CHURCH
SIXTIETH ANNIVERSARY The sixtieth anniversary of the above church was held last Sunday. Both services were conducted bv the Rev. Wm. W. H. Greenslade, of Balclutha, an old Sunday school scholar. Considering the weather, both services were well-attended, especially the evening one. An augmented choir sang several anthems very acceptably. Miss Clear being the soloist for the evening service. To-night at 7.45 p.m., the choir is to render the cantata, ‘ Under the Palms,’ under the conductorship of Mr Ross Hughes. The soloists are Mrs Hartley and Miss Noni Davidson, and Messrs Duerdon and Williamson.
