MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS The Management Committee of the Otago Football Association met last night, Mr M. K. Haig presiding. The request of the Mosgiel Club that the match against Seacliff for the Chinese Cup be played at Mosgiel was granted. The club pointed out that in the last three years it had not met Seacliff at Mosgiel, although it had travelled to Seacliff. A donation of two guineas was made to the St. John Ambulance Association. , . The Tramway Club applied for permission to travel to Invercargill to play a match on October 3.—lt was decided that the club be advised that it must apply to the New Zealand Council for permission to play “ out of season ” games. The Otago Baptist Bible Class was granted the use of two grounds at Logan Park for September 26. The first division competition for the Fletcher Cup was closed, Seacliff being declared the winners, with Mosgiel run-ners-up. Mr J. Moorwood, manager of the junior team which played at Invercargill on Saturday, reported that the trip had been a most successful one. The behaviour of the players was excellent, whilst the members of the Southland Association had treated them with every consideration. He also stated that the game is going ahead in the Southland district, the attendance at the match being between 500 and 600. It was decided to forward a letter to the Southland Association thanking it for the hospitality extended to the team. FIXTURES. The following is the draw for Saturday : First Division (Chinese Cup).—Seacliff v. Mosgiel, at Mosgiel (Mr F. G. Smith). Second Division. Cavershain v. Tramways, at Oval No. 3, at 3.15 p.m. (Mr W. P. Smith). Fifth Division.—Technical A v. Mornington B, at Oval No. 2, at 1.45 p.m. (Mr J. Morwood). Sixth Division.—High School IV. v. Mosgiel, at Mosgiel, at 2 pun. (Mr C. Skinner) ; Technical C v. Y.M.C.A. A at Oval No. 3, at 1.45 p.m. (Mr F. Stanley) -
