NATIONAL DEFENCE
FURTHER STRENGTHENING URGED [Put United Press Association.] TE AROHA, September 14. At the annual of_ the T* Aroha branch of the Territorial Association the following resolution was unanimously supported;.—“That this branch, being fully aware of the inadequacy of the present defence system, urges that the adequate supplies ana equipment required for defence of this land in case of sustained attack be secured, that an equitable system of compulsory military training be instituted forthwith, and that this resolution he forwarded to General Executive, i.ith the request it should lake up the matter with the Defence authorities.”
