PALMERSTON TRAGEDY
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE / CORRIGAN BEFORE COURT The tragedy at Palmerston last month, when George Stewart Neish,' aged 61 years, married, met his. death in obscure circumstances, was recalled in the Police Court this morning, when Richard Corrigan, aged 51 years, a labourer, appeared before Mr H. VV. Bundle to answer a charge of causing the death of Neish on August 26, thereby committing m a nal aughter. On the application of Chief-detective Young Corrigan was remanded for one week, bail being refused.
