DUNEDIN CLUB’S MEETING. The Dunedin Harrier Club held its first sports meeting for the Barling Cup at Hancock Park. Results;—, 100 Yards.— J. Mann (Iyd) 1, P. Mouat (scr) 2, I. Walker (6yds) 3. The field was well bunched until the last 10yds, where Mann went into the lead to win by 2ft from Mouat, with Walker Ift further back. 220 Yards.—J. Mann 1, Mowat 2, Hill 3. Mann went into the lead at halfway, and went on to win by 2yds yards from Mouat, with Hill a foot One Mile.—L. Hill 1, J. Mann 2, F. Mouat 3. Hill went into the lead at halfway, and went on to win by 20yds, with Mann easing up a yard in front of Mouat.

Williams (Syds) 2, C. Garland (Byds) i. Time, 56 2-ssec. CIVIL SERVICE. With a good average attendance the Civil Service Club ran from the St. Hilda bathing pavilion. The fast pack, with Captain Gerkeu in charge, went for a fast non-stop run to Tomahawk via Lovers’ Lane, returning round Lawyer’s Head and along the Ocean Beach home. Over the last mile the pace was on, and in the run home Whittleston showed gCod form in running in first from W. Mackinuon and Gerkcn. The road runners were feeling the effects of last week’s race, but W. Mackinuon and N. Contts appeared to bo very fit and should be close up in next week’s race. Deputy-captain Williams took' the slow pack over practically the same course as the fast pack. A steady pace was maintained throughout, but a fast run home was held, with Fox finishing just ahead of Wheeler and Griffin. Mr M'Kernan took the colts for a more leisurely run to Tomahawk via the Ocean Beach. Next week the club will bo represented in the modified marathon road race by Coutts, Mackinnon, and, Barnes. Those runners were the first three for the club to finish last week, and it is expected that they will make a bold bid for the teams’ race next Saturday, and so retain the Nickels Cup, HANOVER BAPTIST. The Hanover Baptist Harrier Club held its first sports meeting in perfect weather at Logan Park. Good races and jumps were witnessed. Results: — —Senior. — Mile—A. Scoones 3, H. Benfell 2, S. From the school the pack, under Harrier Captain Logan, climbed the bill, the Signal Hill road, thence along the new road. The ridge was followed to a point above the Fever Hospital, the''pack then descending to Logan Park and climbing the hill again past the rifle range to Grand View. Signal Hill xxiad was again followed for a short distance, the trail branching down hill directly to the school. No run borne was held. LEITH.
