MR ARTHUR B. TRIGGS i •ret« Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 11. The death has occurred of Mr Aw thur B. Triggs, who was one of Aus« tralia’s greatest individual sheep own* ers. Ho started his career in a ; bank at Yass, saw, the possibilities of sheep* raising, eventually became the owne* of 25 stations, shearing 600,000 sheep, and marketing more than 12,000 bales of wool in one season.

Just before the war Mr Triggs faced liabilities amounting to £1,500,000, and when the tide turned he not only redeemed the whole of his liabilities, but also paid the accrued interest on his debts, which comprised a small fortune.
