Sir Edward Ponlton, the famous zoologist and entomologist of Oxford, was to-day elected next year’s president of the British Association, ami the meeting will he hold at Nottingham, and the 1938 meeting at Cambridge. At to-day’s meeting of the General Committee the question of a future meeting of the association in Australia was under consideration, hut no decision was reached,
