Members of the above lodge helcf their usual monthly meeting on Tuesday evem ing A the Oddfellows’ Hall, Kensington. W. Master Bro. J. W. Woottoa presided over a good attendance of mem. tiers, and was supported by all th« officers except the chaplain, who was absent on duty. Inward correspondence was dealt with, including invitations to card tournaments at No, 28 on September 17 and No. 31 September 28, which were accepted, A committee was appointed to arrange for a church service of the lodge at Green Island during November. The W. Master, Bro. Wootton, who had celebrated his golden wedding during the month, received the congratulations _of _ tho members. One candidate was initiated into the institution. A vote of thanks was recorded to Bro. Robb for his work in fitting up the new cupboard, which had been built for lodge use by the owners. A vote of thanks was recorded to visiting brethren, P.M. Dro. Weir (No. 21) responding.
