UNEMPLOYMENT
SUNDAY CONCERT An attractive programme has been arranged to be staged at the Umpire Theatre next Sunday night. One of the principal offerings will be given by the Phillips sisters, with Miss Nada at the console of the Christie organ, assisted by' Miss Maureen in a cornet solo. Mr Wiseman, well-known Scottish humorist, will also appear, and a special surprise item will be provided by a performer who is shortly leaving for England to take up a big theatrical engagement. Several prize-winners at the recent Competitions will also contribute items. Intending patrons are reminded that the concert, which will commence at 8.5 p.m., is being organised by the South Dunedin Unemployed Association and that the funds derived from the silver coin door collection will be devoted to the assistance of deserving cases.
