SAVOUR'S THIRD WIN [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 9. Gaining the only fall in the bout with a flying drop-kick in the fifth round, Joe Savoldi beat Joe Woods in an eight-round match to-night. Savoldi impressed as having the measure of Woods at all stages, and broke some of Woods’s holds with amazing ease. The Theatre Royal was packed, and the crowd found fault with Savoldi’s showmanship, taking strong exception to his frequent complaints to the referee, none of which was upheld.
