SPORT IN FRANCE THE GOVERNMENT ALARMED Press Association—By Telegraph —Copyright PARIS, September 27. (Received September 28, at 10.5 a.m.) _ Seriously alarmed at France’s position in international sport, the Government is opening a campaign to improve matters by building stadiums in order to raise the level or games. The Press generally fears that France will be unable to' find even a moderate team for the 1936 Olympiad. Some suggest it would be better to scratch than continue to be beaten.
