In the final of the men s doubles at the Pacific south-west tournament Van Rvn and Allison beat Budge and Mato 7-9 6-1. 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. brugnon and Miss Lyle beat Menzel and Miss Babcock, 9-7, 64), m the semi-final of the mixed doubles. Menzel lost interest in the second set, and volleyed softly to Brugnon and netted to Miss Lyle. In the final Budge and Mrs Van Ryn beat Brugnon and Miss L ‘Tho 6 final of the women’s doubles resulted in a win for Mrs Van Ryn and Miss Josephine Crmckshank, who beat Miss Babcock and Mrs Esther Bartosh (Los ; Angeles), 6-0. 2-6, 12-10.
