NO BAN ON JEWS
OLYMPIC SELECTION According to Mr P. Cramer, official Australian representative for the German Olympic Council, there is not to be any ban on Jews taking part in the Olympic Games at Berlin next year. In his official statement Mr Cramer says:— ,
1. Gex-many will receive all nations and their sports teams_ with the same friendliness,' without distinction as to race. All international events hitherto organised by Germany have passed off without the least friction and with the greatest cordiality, 2. Jews living in Germany have full opportunity to join the existing Jewish sports clubs or to found new ones. 3. No barrier has been put by the State in the way of German clubs receiving Jews as members. 4. Jewish clubs have the opportunity to train on their own or on rented sports grounds. " 5. Special Olympia preparatory courses for Jewish sportsmen have been arranged by the Reichs sports leadership. \ 6. The exclusion of Jews from the Olympic selective contests has not taken place. Such contests have not been help up till now.
