SOUTH AUSTRALIA’S FIRST RUGBY WIN
Defeating West Australia by 22 points to 14 in Adelaide on Saturday, Soutli Australian Rugby players scored their first interstate success (says an Australian writer). Tho Perth players showed surprisingly good form, but after having led by 11 points to 6 at half-time, tired badly. This, no doubt, was due to their having only one good night’s rest since leaving tho West. They are expected to do bettor in the second match this afternoon. Alcorn, best man on the ground, formerly played in West Australia. Other outstanding men in tho winning team were Porter, Barker, and Colgan. Best of the visitors were Baguley, M'Gann, Dunn, and Judges.
