TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Might I correct “ Hopeful ” ? It was not Mr Downie Stewart who spoke recently in the House of spoonfeeding the unemployed. It was Mr A. Stuart, member for a country constituency in the Wellington district.—l am, etc., T. Gradgrind. September 24.
