BYRD EXPEDITION
NIW ZEALAND MEMBERS RETURNING Prsu Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 24. Francis W. Smoothey and Cecil Melrose, New Zealanders who went with the Byrd expedition to the Antarctic, reached Sydney to-day _ aboard the freighter Ashburton on their way home. They declared they had a great experience, “ hut tho work was tough.”
