ST. KILDA METHODIST CHURCH
SPRING FAIR AND ENTERTAINMENT In keeping with the season, spring decorations have transformed Wesley Hall into a beautiful setting for the annual sale of work of the St, Kilda Methodist Church, which was opened this afternoon. Several stalls, bearing goods with a ready saleable value, are attractively arranged, and should be responsible for the collection of a fair sum toward the church fund before the sal© concludes to-morrow night. Both evenings variety entertainments will be provided, and will include a play by Bible class members (under the direction of Miss Irene Newbold) and enjoyable items by the church’s male voice choir (conducted by Mr - Fred Wilson). There will also be a fancy dress parade for children, with no entry, fee, and good prizes. This should be one of the features of the bazaar. Miss. Audrey Kirk will be the accompanist. Following are the stall-holders; — Needlework, Mesdames Muir and Kirk; Bible class stall, -Misses Smyth and Todd; cake, Mesdames Stead and Conch; sweets, Mesdames lies and M'Farlane; men’s stall, Mr F. Ganderton and assistants; children’s stall, Misses June Callister and Kerse.
