Hewlett Johnson, Dean of Canterbury, has “ apparently identified himself with a. political party,” the Right Rev. Ralph Sherman, Anglican Bishop of Calgary, refused the chairmanship of the Dean’s Social Credit meeting on Saturday. In an interview in Winnipeg yesterday, the Dean said he was in complete accord with Mr Aberhart’s policies, and predicted that the Aberhart party would eventually sweep all Canada. “ PROSPERITY BONDS " EDMONTON, September 24. (Received September 25, at 1 p.m.) Mr Aberhart (Premier of Alberta) announces the issue of an unspecified amount of “ prosperity bonds ” at an unspecified interest rate to be sold to Albertans to pay off outside bond debts.
