ST. BERNADETTE'S CHURCH CARNIVAL

in the grounds of St. Bernadette’s Church, Forbury road, to-night and each evening until Saturday, September 28, a carnival is to be' held. The grounds will be illuminated with a display of coloured electric lights. Stalls of various descriptions, including sweets, produce, fancy, and refreshments, promise to be an attraction. An entertainment will be provided each evening by well-known performers, supplemented by items from the pupils of St. Philomena’s College in vocal, orchestral, and physical drill selections. A special feature will be the appearance of the Waverley Boys’ Band, Rolldowns, throw-ins, and other novelty amusements will provide fun for young and old.
