Dominion Day was celebrated by New Zealand official and social organisations, Mr Taylor, the Trade and Tourist Commissioner, entertained representatives of the State and Federal Parliaments, Government departments, Consular officials and prominent citizens at a reception at the New Zealand Government offices. The New Zealand Government offices. The New Zealand Women’s Association and the Kia Ora Club hold separate gatherings. Mr Taylor and his wife were the guests of honour at a luncheon given by tire Kia Ora Club.
