DIR HOLLAND TO CONTEST CHRISTCHURCH NORTH [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, September 23. Mr H. Holland, M.P. for Christ church North, will contest the seat again in the forthcoming election as a National Government candidate, according to an announcement be made today. Mr Holland said his health had made it doubtful for a time whether he would be able to stand the strain of a campaign, but it had improved so much recently that ho was confident that he could take part in the election. He thought he would be able to resume bis seat in the House in about a fortnight. DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGN. WELLINGTON, September 23. Mr T. C. A. Hislop, leader of the Democrat Party, will open iis campaign on Tuesday, October 1, in the Auckland Town Hall, when he will announce full details of the policy of the party and also a full list of the sele'ied and endorsed candidates.
