Teams representing Dunedin Central and North met last evening in the Otago Chess Club’s rooms, Stuart street, 'i The tournament is now reaching an interesting stage, there being only one more match to play to com-plete'-the’ first round. Last evening’s match was, as usual, full of interest, and resulted in some fairly keenly contested games. Messrs 11. Watt and 11.
