'THE DOVER ROAD'
Alf thing* seem to point to the success of the presentation of ‘ The Dover Road ’ by the Otago University Dramatic Society. The season of three nights commences at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening. This play, which is being produced by Miss Bessie Thomson, gives promise of being a great success, unci the theatre-going public of Dunedin is sure of a really first-rate performance. The students who form the principals of the cast have all proved their merit in previous productions of the society, and they are ably supported by the minor members. Miss Isohel Newlands and Miss Margot Garrett play Anne and Eustacia respectively, while the part of Latimer is played by Mr Lester Moller, and that of Dominic by Mr Bruce M'Ken/.ie. Mr Russell Napier and Mr Wyvern De Clive Lowe play T,canard and Nicholas. With this cast and A. A. Milne’s delightful humour, supportol by occasional music by the D.i.C. Orchestra, an evening’s amusing entertainment is assured. On Friday evening only, school children will be admitted to the dress circle 'at half-price (Is 6d), provided that their seats are reserved beforehand at the D.I.C. box office.
