SHIPPING DISPUTE

WAIMARINO HELD UP [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 19. The onlv development to-day in connection with hold-up of shipping at Wellington was the addition of the cargo steamer Waimarino to the list of six Union Company ships already idle because of the dispute between the Cooks and Stewards’ Union and the company. It is reliably stated that the company has been able to find a cook-for the Waimarino. The Wahine was late in departing for Lyttleton. It is understood that a member of the crew was missing and had to bo replaced. A meeting of officials of the Union Company look place this afternoon,but no further statements were issued, either by the -company or the union.
