HOME OFFICE REPORT MANY OFFENCES COMMITTED BY YOUTHS Pre-T Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 19. (Received June 20, at 1.5 p.m.) A startling feature in. the Home Office report on criminal statistics shows that nearly half the indictable offences in 1932 were committed by youths under 21 years of age, including a huge proportion of house and shopbreaking offences. Crimes numbered 208,175 —the highest this century. The suicides were 5,657, also the highest on record.
