OBITUARY
DUKE OF WELLINGTON Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, June 18. (Received June 19, at 10 a.m.) The death is announced of the Duke of Wellington on the anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. [The Duke of Wellington was the third son of Major-general Lord Charles Wellesley, second son of the first Duke. He was born in 1849. He was Lieuten-ant-commanding Colonel, Ist Battalion,. Grenadier Guards, from 1891 to 1895.. He owned about 19,200 acres. His heir, is Marquess Douro.]
