At Princeton, New Jersey, Glenn Cunningham, from the University of Kansas, set a new world’s record mile run in the amazing time of 4min 6 7-10 sec, compared with Lovelock’s record of 4min 7 6-10 sec. Ben Eastman, the Olympic star, also made a record, running half a mile in Imin 49 4-ssec.
