' '' HAVANA, June 17., (Received June 18, at 1.55 p.m.) Since early morning political faction Supporters have been carrying on a sanguinary warfare throughout the streets of the capital. At least seven people have been killed, scores wounded serioosly, and perhaps hundreds slightly, in tite scuffling and by tear gas bombs. The police and soldiers used rifles „and machine guns freely, but later in the afternoon the disorders continued. The trouble started when the political organisation “ ABC,” which supported the Government, called a convention. for to-day. The Communists fend other Left Wing workers, retaliated by. declaring a transportation Strike.
Six deaths occurred when unknown people fired a volley into the “ ABC ” parade from the rooftops.
