SOLICITOR CHARGED
THEFT ALLEGED In the Police Court to-day, before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., a solicitor, Thomas Adamson Kinmont,. was charged with having received £430 from Frances Elizabeth Mitchell on terms requiring him to pay the money to Mondy, Monro,, and Stephens for E. Borne, fraudulently omitting to do so, thereby committing theft. ' •
Chief Detective Young applied'for a remand for one week. Mr N. Thompson, who appeared for the actused, consented to the application, which was granted. > As accused was leaving the bos, the magistrate asked 'if counsel intended making an application for bail. Mr Thompson: No, your Worship.
