SUEZ CANAL TRADE

The amounts to bo received by the British Government in dividends and statutory interest on its shares in the Suez Canal Company for the year 1933 are estimated at £2.312,000, compared with £2,342,000 for 1931 and £2,057, 000 for 1932. Approximately 55 per cent of the net tonnage passing through the canal is British.*
