Each Saturday a recipe or hint will bo published in "this space, specially recommended by the Home Science Ex* tension Bureau Service. BEANS AND MACARONI .Beans, } cup. Macaroni, i cup. Gratedvcheese, i cup. / Buttered crumbs, 2 tablcspoonfuls. Tomato puree, J cup. Water, J cup. Flour, 2 tablespoonfuls. Fat, 2 tablespoonfuls. Salt and pepper. . Method;- SoaJi - beans overnight. Drain off water and cook in boiling salted water till soft. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water. Prepare tomato sauce. __ using tomato puree, water, fat and flour. Arrange alternately in a greased casserole beans, macaroni, cheese, and sauce. Sprinkle buttered Crumbs on top, and bake in oven at 350 deg Fahrenheit till browned.
