IMPROVEMENT CONTINUES (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, RUGBY, June 13. The preliminary Board of Trade returns of British overseas trade for May show that imports anlonnted to £61,727,000, against £56,330,000 in April last and £57,276,000 in May, 1933. Exports were £32,759,000, against £30,100,000 in April and £30,715,000 in May, 1933. Re-exports were £4,787,000 against £5,019,000 in April and £3,820,000 in May, 1933. For the five months, January to May, 1934, imports were £301,249,000, against £267,063,000 in the corresponding period of 1933. The exports for the five months totalled £157,608,000, against £148,877,000, and re-exports £24,708,000, against £19,941,000.
