FATAL EXPLOSION

An inquest w3s held this afternoon into the death of Patrick Anthony O’Connell, who died in the hospital last night. He was admitted last Sunday suffering from severe burns caused by an explosion of kerosene. The evidence showed that on Sunday morning the deceased sprinkled some kerosene from a four-gallon tin on a fire to get it going, and the spirit exploded, injuring him severely.
