(Received Juno 14, at 10.20 a.m.) The ‘ Daily Telegraph’s ’ Romo correspondent says:— “ The utmost secrecy' is being maintained anent the momentous MussoliniHitler meeting. Berlin communiques, giving minute details of the event, are carefully’ left out of tho Italian newspapers. The editors are forbidden to refer to tho subject, consequently very few Italians know; that the meeting is taking place. “ Elaborate precautions are being taken to ensure privacy in the villa where the meeting is being held.” AUSTRIA'S COMPLAINT GERMANY RESPONSIBLE FOR TERRORIST ACTIVITY. VIENNA, June 13. (Received Juno 14, at 11" a.m.) On the eve of the Hitler-Mussolini meeting the Austrian Government significantly submitted to Rome all material which could prove that Germany inspired tho terrorist activities which are sweeping Austria. The Government does not demand Signor Mussolini’s assistance, but stresses tho fact that the terrorists’ damage to Austrian economics strikes at tho Home Pact. Austria is willing to restore friendship with Germany if Herr Hitler guarantees Austrian independence.
